State Special Olympics 2019

On Memorial Day weekend, there were 25 Brother Knights, their wives and friends took their time to volunteer for the Special State Olympics of Arkansas. The event was hosted by Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.

The Knight’s Honor Guard took the lead for the Parade of Athletes kicking off the 2019 Special Olympic Games that was held from May 23rd to May 25th.

The Volunteers provided Carnival Games, Arts and Crafts for over 2000 attendees consisting of the Olympic Athletes and their family members.

Many thanks to Fred Jungers of the Knights of Columbus Council 10208 Jesus Catholic Church of Hot Springs Village for spearheading this event for so many years.
