Anthony has proudly served as Chairman of HSV's Recreation Committee. He has served as past President of HSV Tennis Assn and President of the HSV Rotary Club. He is Currently an Assistant Governor for Rotary District 6170, Past Public Relations Director of HSV Rotary Club, Service Director of HSV Rotary are also on his resume.
Anthony Chaired Rotary's District Conference for 3 years and served on the KofC Convention Committee.
His Hobbies include Tennis, Pickleball, swimming, boating and fishing. He even sometimes manages to squeeze in a round or two of golf.
Anthony is happily married to Marilyn with 2 children Cheryl & David, 3 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and embodies what it truly means to serve Christ while serving others.
Ted and Sandy Otera - Knight of the Month |
Ted is very active in the Meals on Wheels programs. He tends bar at the monthly meetings and helps with kitchen work and waitering at different Council functions. The kitchen staff is one of the hardest working and most called upon duties in our council, and Ted should be greatly commeded for that alone.
Ted also is an usher at the Saturday Masses. Let us all extend our congratulations to Ted when we see him for being an exemplary Knight.
Tom Conrad February Knight of Month |
Tom actively volunteers every Monday at the Arkansas Food Bank/Rice Depot. They recently merged on 1/1/16. He works in the food portion;sorting, bagging, packaging food items for various agencies in the State of Arkansas.
Tom also helps with his wife Cindy, every Wednesday at the Jackson House in the food pantry section. He is, however, always ready to assist Janie, the director if she needs a fill in or other community activities for the crisis intervention's programs.
Tom also is co-chair of the ham sales for the Knights that provides Christmas presents for the needy children in the area. He has been busy doing Meals for Wheels in the month of February and other times during the year when needed, Tom also helps coordinate many youth programs including Junior Golf during the summer and free throw contests. He is a very active member of the disaster relief team. His newest endeavor was to assist Tom Donnelly for serving of the fourth degree dinner.
He is supported in all of his activities by his wonderful wife Cindy. A big shout out to Tom, for a job well done!
