(For this summary, Father was asked to focus on his role as state chaplain for the Arkansas KC's)
As state chaplain, I attend and participate in the activities of the state convention (which was in Little Rock this year). I preside over the annual memorial Mass for deceased knights from throughout the state. As state chaplain, I also attend and participate in the two gatherings of state officers and district deputies that are held in July and January at different locations in the state.
I will soon be attending the Supreme Convention in Philadelphia in early August and participate in all of its activities including a meeting of all state chaplains with Archbishop Lori of Supreme on Monday before the Convention starts on Tuesday.
I am the spiritual support for our state deputy and state officers and offer encouragement and, if needed, counsel to council chaplains throughout Arkansas.
