The following Sir Knights attanded the October 26th Assembly meeting held in the lower Hall of Sacred Heart Church to receive their Certificates acknowledging they are 4th Degree Knights Of Columbus Sir Knights.

| Luncheon for the 61 Attendees |
On Saturday, October 16th, Assembly 2316 hosted a Fourth Degree Exemplification elevating 19 Knights to Sir Knights in the Lower Hall . The ceremony was conducted by the exemplification team; Past State Deputy Roy Anderle, Arkansas Master Jeff Priore, Sir Knights Jim Palmer, Tom Yerina, Russell Tessier, Mike Kerwin.
Special guest: State Deputy Alan Halman along with 61 guests in attendance with Father Ravi Rayappa Gudipalli as the honoree of the exemplification. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Assembly 2316 hosted a luncheon and Sir Knight Tom Donnelly served a superb spaghetti meal that was enjoyed by all.

| Star Council award 2020 2021 |
District Deputy Andy Anderson awards Grand Knight Murray Claassen the Star Award for the 2020/2021 year. Everyone knows how difficult it was to obtain this award with all of the events happening in the world and here at home with Covid. Congratulations Murray - Job well done.

This year marked the 13th year for the St John’s Charity Golf Tournament. This tournament is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Councils in Hot Springs Village and Hot Springs. Even though it was a very hot day, there was an extremely large turnout of 120 players from all around the Central Arkansas area. Players thoroughly enjoyed the competition as well as the games on the course. 1st. Place in the 1st Flight was won by the team of Don Levac, Rob Levac, Bob Pinson, Jimmy Sears. The 2nd Flight was won by Scott Krantz, Ed Miller, Tom Conrad and Dan Murphy. Winners of the 3rd. Flight were John Hoefl, Dodson Christian, Mike Long, Chuck Jordon. Closest to the pins were won by Tom Conrad, Lee Parnell and Daniel Warren with Andrea Warren winning the closest to the line drive. Upon completion of play the golfers enjoyed a wonderful catered barbeque lunch provided by Corky’s BBQ.

Family of the Month: Rick and Marie Hylden. Also in attendance was Granddaughter Lyla Henry to steal the show. The Hylden's are always there to jump in and help when needed. You've seen Rick working the 'Fr. Bill outdoor Radio Station' under all kinds of weather conditions. Marie is a Lector, Past President of LOSH (and still very active), Church decorating committee. And ofcourse Rick behind the bar at our Knights functions, set up, and many other functions.

On July 19, 2021, the Knights of Columbus Arkansas State Council presented the Arkansas Special Olympics with a check for over $4000. BISHOP McDONALD/CATHOLIC CHARITIES GOLF TOURNAMENT
This year's annual golf tournament which is the main fundraiser for Catholic Charites of Arkansas will take place for the first time at Diamante Country Club here at Hot Springs Village. Please mark your calendar for Monday, October 18th and make plans to get a team of players together (for a four person scramble) or sign up as an individual and we'll hope to get you on a team. Our parish will help subsidize the entry fee for our Sacred Heart of Jesus golfers up to a certain number of players. Your cost will be $85.00.

This year's Installation of Officers was tied into our July 6th Council Meeting. District Director Andy Anderson was in attendance to handle the ceremonies and swearing in of Officers. The meal was catered by Jim Sparks 'Home Plate Restaurant'. Officers and their Wifes were invited to attend the event and were included in the ceremony of setting Officers Metals on their husbands.
