Ed and Mary Ann are very involved in both the church and the community. Ed has been in charge of the Disaster Response Team's clean-up crew, which has put in many hours after the tornado last year and more recently in assisting the POA in cleaning up damage to the common areas caused in that tornado. Ed was also responsible for the new cheese fundraiser that paid for much of the Coats for Kid’s project.

During the past 3 years, Ed was our District Deputy where he received the District Deputy of the Year twice. Last year, Ed was Captain of the 4^th degree and this year is the Faithful Navigator.

Mary Ann just retired as director of the Sacred Heart choir, having served in this capacity for the last 8 years. She helped the Knights by working on the Flag Day Ceremony and the Mardi Gras celebration. By the way, Mary Ann's umbrella made the most money of all, when her umbrella, which had an alligator on top of it, was auctioned off.
