On Monday, March 19th, 64 Parishioners attended the 9:00 a.m. Mass; most joined us for light refreshments and finger food after Mass in celebration of the Solemnity of St. Joseph.
Nineteen Knights attended both the Mass and enjoyed the food, camaraderie, unity and fraternity afterward.
Don Ritter, our Worthy Church Director made all arrangements, set up the Holy Family picture in the Sacristy, bought flowers to place under the statue of Joseph, placed our National Ensign and Knight's Flag in classroom D, and with the help of Brother Danny Elser, arranged the classroom for the after-Mass reception.
Fifty "Building the Domestic Church" booklets about St. Joseph were ordered by Brother Ed Doyle and distributed before Mass for parishioners to keep. An anonymous Knight bought and donated much of the food, juices, and helped set up the event. Don Ritter and his wife Lorraine baked some breads and raspberry munchies for the occasion.
Thank you one and all who helped arrange, set up, or attended this event.
