Special Olympics CEO Terri Weir

During the October 2017 Member's meeting, the Council welcomed the gifted, dedicated, talented, and dynamic Executive Director and CEO of the Arkansas Special Olympics, Terri Weir.  The Grand Knight, Sir Knight Tom Donnelly stated that he first met Terri several years ago, and she’s been an exceptional supporter of our Knights of Columbus efforts at Harding University in Searcy as we set up, run, and dismantle the Olympic Village each year.  She arranges and pays our motel accommodations, provides robust young folks to help set up tents, she provides us tables, chairs, water, a fine reception, tee-shirts, and myriad other necessities to make our Special Olympics’ efforts successful.  We reciprocate each year with a generous charitable donation to her most worthy cause.  Ms. Weir made a wonderful presentation on her organization and was very generous in her appreciation to what our Council does every year supporting the Arkansas Special Olympics.
