February's Family of the Month was awarded to Rick and Sandy Darnell at the March 2nd Council meeting.
The well-deserved award was presented to them by Grand Knight Murray Claassen for the extensive relationships they have with the church and its various organizations they participate.
Sandy is involved in all of the following:
Member of Rosary makers
Sacristan
Eucharistic minister
Perpetual adoration adorer
Captain of St Anthony’s guild LOSH
Volunteer at Mountain Pine school with the first graders.
Benedictine oblate of Conception Abbey
Member of the bible study group
Serve on the parish liturgy committee
Head of the church decorating committee (decorates the sanctuary for Christmas, Easter, May altar, All souls)
Helps serve, Sacristan, Eucharistic Minister, sometimes Alter Boy and help set up and take down at parking lot mass.
Helps the Knights of Columbus when needed for set up, serving, tickets, CPID, decorating.
Rick has many hats as well!!
Technology Officer.
Stream Council meetings.
Phone conference call meetings.
Upkeep of the website with Johnny Broom.
Include new sections and revisions on the website.

4th-degree ‘Unofficial’ Technology Officer and Inside sentry. Sits in the back of the room and fixes people's computers while meetings are going on.
Parking lot Mass Radio Station administrator and personnel scheduler, set up, take down crew, occasional Alterboy.
Assistance with several Sacred Heart Parishioners in troubleshooting computer problems, house calls, installations, computer and printer upgrades.
Help Sandy with Sacristan duties when needed, Sandy washes I dry.
Kitchen Crew help.
Sell tickets for events.
Set up Ticket sales for MM&D and other special events.
Lower hall decorations for events.
Helps other councils with their electronics and streaming of council meetings.
