Five knights from Council 10208 have been appointed by State Deputy Charles Ketter to positions with the Arkansas Knights of Columbus State Council for the 2011-2012 fraternal year.  Continuing as chairmen are Gerald Krawczynski (Fundraising) and John Bodensteiner (Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities).  New chairmen are Dub Green (Special Olympics) and Jim Goodson (Pro-Life along with wife, Patricia).

Beginning his third year as District Deputy for District 10 is Ed Miller.  Ed was also named 2010-2011 District Deputy of the Year for the second time in as many years as he mentored the Benton, Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village, and Mena Councils.

Congratulations to these knights for their dedication to the Knights of Columbus organization and its members.  It is quite unusual for one council to be filling 25% of the state chairman positions, and they are committed to representing their fellow knights and Council 10208 in a positive manner. 

The five knights attended a July 23 meeting of the Arkansas State Council officers, directors, chairmen, and district deputies.  Gerald also attended a meeting of the AR Knights on Bikes.
