Ann and Gerald Krawczynski
Gerald and Ann Krawczynski are being recognized for Gerald's respect for, and dedication to, the Knights of Columbus.  With Ann's support, he has been involved with many aspects of the organization at both the local and state levels.

Gerald and Ann were born and raised in San Antonio TX where they attended Catholic Schools.  They have been married 48 years and are the parents of four sons and a daughter and grandparents of six girls and three boys.

After five corporate moves in Texas and Mississippi, they landed in Lufkin TX where they remained for 23 years.  They were active in boy and girl scouts, the Chamber of Commerce, and the community college.   At the parish and school Ann served in the choir, as PTA president, and was instrumental in starting a school lunch program.  Gerald served on the local school board, the Diocesan school board, and the Parish council.   After their first son arrived, Ann was a stay-at-home-mom, but later was a bookkeeper.

Gerald sold their business in 1996 and Ann retired from her job with a local non-profit corporation the same year.  During a two-year sabbatical they found Hot Springs Village and Gerald started a new career with United American Insurance Co.  They relocated to the Village in November, 1999.

Soon Gerald was recruited by the Knights of Columbus to be a Field Agent.   He was honored as Arkansas Agent of the Year in 2004 and 2005, and he was recognized by the Supreme Council in 2005 for attaining 118% of his quota with over $8 million in issued life insurance.

Gerald retired as Field Agent in 2007, but continues to be active with the Knights.   He is presently completing his second term as State Council Warden and is beginning a fourth term as Fund Raising Director.  He also serves on the State Council Fourth Degree Team. At the local level he is a member of first degree team, membership director for the Fourth degree Assembly, and a member of the Honor Guard.

For the church Gerald is a lector, served on the Pastoral Council 2006-2008, worked the last Treasure Sale and the recent Habitat for Humanity Project.

Gerald’s hobbies are gardening and motorcycling.

Ann began her real estate career shortly after coming to the Village.  She was recognized in 2005 as agent of the year and annually is a top producer at her office.  She has served on the Hot Springs Village Board of Realtors.

For the church Ann is member of the Ladies Guild, a choir member, has served on the Parish Council, on the organizational team for the treasure sale, and on the recent Habitat for Humanity project.   She enjoys traveling, playing cards, exercising, and playing golf. Her newest interest is playing the Mountain Dulcimer.

Gerald and Ann, thanks to both of you for your service.  Gerald, good luck with your new strategies in the State Council fundraising efforts for the 2010 - 2011 fraternal year.
