John Bodensteiner receiving the Service Award from Grand Knight Bill Welch

During John's tenure as Grand Knight, 2009-2010, he set the mark for all those who follow.  His organizational skills and dedication resulted in improvements throughout all levels of the Council.  Some of his accomplishments as Grand Knight are as follows:

* Star Council Award
* Special award from State for the Councils Memorial Mass and dinner program.
* This web site was constructed by John and Mike Miller
* Initiated a disaster recovery team
* Setup a Blood Drive Program that he still chairs
* The Council donated a record amount of money to charities during this period.
* Established a Feed the Families Program he still runs.

John was awarded a Special Appreciation award from the Council for his leadership and accomplishments.
