Our Lady of Fatima Students Displaying Coats
As one of its annual projects for deserving students in area schools, the Knights purchased and distributed 96 new coats for students in elementary schools in Fountain Lake, Jessieville, and Mountain Pine as well as in St John’s School in Hot Springs and Our Lady of Fatima in Benton.

Project Coordinator John Bodensteiner ordered the coats in September via the Supreme Council for delivery in late October at a cost of $1,760.  After John's wife, Carolyn, sorted the coats by gender and size, they were quickly delivered on November 4 by Youth Director Fred Jungers, area school liaison (Baskets) Ed Keearns, and John.  School couselors and principals determine the criteria for selecting the recipients in their schools.

Net proceeds from the Council's sale of Kraemer's Wisconsin Cheese and Sausage products more than pays for the coats.  This fundraiser is coordinated by Ed Miller with assistance from John Meyers and Al Bilgischer.
