The international Knights on Bikes (KonB) organization was founded in April 2005. Its headquarters are located in Fort Worth TX, and KonB has the following objective...to serve the community through charitable works and leadership while enjoying camaraderie with our brothers in faith as motorcycle riders.  We are all Knights of Columbus members of any council around the world that promote spiritual and cultural needs of the Knights and strive to encourage faith, friendship, and service.  The Knights on Bikes is a family oriented organization.  In God we trust and ride."

The Arkansas chapter was started in 2009 in northwest Arkansas by co-founders Michael Huber and Jack Otten  at a time when there were only three states with chapters.  As of October 2010, there were 20 state chapters across the country and the Arkansas chapter had 20 members.

When Gerald Krawczynski of Council 10208 became the first knight from his council to join the state chapter, he stated, "Participating with the group is a public expression of our faith as well as an opportunity to dialogue with other motorcyclists about the history and purpose of the fraternal order."  He has since been joined by brother knights Rick Heimenz and Jim Passe.

Most members proudly wear vests that clearly promote the Knights of Columbus organization.  The national web site is www.knightsonbikes-usa1.com, and the Arkansas site is www.knightsonbikesarkansas.com.
