Lee Borne, a charter member of the local council formed on January 1, 1990, has been on the Special Olympics Board of Directors since that time as well. The Knights of Columbus has been a strong supporter of the Special Olympics at the national level since 1968, and Lee works tirelessly to maintain a strong bond between the two organizations in Arkansas. In addition to having held offices, including financial secretary for Council 10208, Lee has served over the years as state program director, district deputy, state deputy, state advocate, and state secretary.

Gerald Krawczynski has been a knight for 42 years and currently serves the Arkansas State Council as warden (his second term) and as fund raising director as well as being on its 4th degree exemplification team. He also coordinates the Running of the Silver Rose for the state council. Having been an insurance field agent for a number of years, he was recognized as Arkansas Field Agent of the Year in both 2004 and 2005. Gerald is a member of his council’s degree 1st degree exemplification team and is also a member of the 4th Degree Assembly 2316, for which he serves on the honor guard and as membership director.  Gerald and his wife, Ann, were selected as Family of the Month several times.

Ed Miller is the new District 10 Deputy for 2009 -2010. In this role he is the liaison between the area councils – Benton, Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village, and Mena – and the state council. He is hoping to form a council in DeQueen in the near future to serve the Catholic men in that area. Ed has been a knight and member of the local council since September, 2004 and the assembly since April, 2005. During his brief tenure with the Knights of Columbus, he has been community director, advocate, deputy grand knight, and grand knight. He is currently in his second year as trustee. Ed and his wife, Mary Ann, were chosen twice as Family of the Year, and Ed was Knight of the Year for 2008-2009.
Jimmie Rogers joined the Knights in February, 2006, and has been serving as the state church program director. Two of his several responsibilities in that position are to organize and schedule a retreat each year for all Arkansas knights and their spouses at Subiaco. He is also involved with the March for Life each January in Little Rock. This fraternal year he works with Ed Miller as district warden and is the chancellor for Council 10208 in which he previously held the positions of recorder and church program director. Jimmie and his wife, Martha, were chosen as Family of the Month two times, and he was recently Knight of the Month.
