The local Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Assembly 2316 will host an exemplification for the state on Saturday, September 26, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. The special honoree is Fr. Victor Bieberle, a retired priest. The schedule of events will be as follows:
| 12:00 – 1:00 pm | Registration of Candidates at entrance of Lower Hall and lunch in lower hall. |
| 1:00 – 1:30 pm | Candidates assemble with District Master of fourth degree. |
| 1:30 – 3:30 pm | Exemplification & Knighting ceremony in Upper Hall. |
| 3:30 – 4:00 pm | Group pictures outside Lower Hall. |
| 4:00 – 5:00 pm | Exposition of Blessed Sacrament in Church (optional). |
| 5:00 – 6:00 pm | Attend regular Saturday Mass. |
| 6:00 – 6:30 pm | Social in Lower Hall (donation refreshment center). |
| 6:30 – 7:15 pm | Dinner in Lower Hall. |
| 7:15 – 8:00 pm | Presentation of Certificates in Lower Hall. |
Candidate Registration Fee including Deacons: $70.00 (Clergy $40.00, Assembly pays this). Fee includes suspender type Social Baldric, 4th degree pin, and one banquet ticket.
Additional Banquet tickets: $20.00 Adults only (18 years old or older) at all activities. Make check to District Master.
UNIFORM:
Candidates (including Deacons): complete Black Tuxedo with lay down collar (no wing tip collar allowed). White gloves not required. Military Dress Uniform authorized. Clergy: regular clerical dress. Fourth degree members: Complete Black Tuxedo with lay down collar during ceremony (required). Dark suit with tie acceptable for banquet. Note: Anyone not in proper dress will not be allowed into ceremony chambers.
LADIES PROGRAM: 12:00 – 3:30 pm. (See the separate article on Ladies Program)
Ladies will be transported between 12 & 12:30 to a restaurant for a delightful lunch, and entertainment. COST: $10.00 each. Ladies will return to Sacred Heart parish for Mass and the evening activities. Make check to Assembly 2316. LADIES ATTIRE: ladies may dress casual for the ladies program then change into Church clothes for Mass and banquet event. Accommodations will be available for storing and changing.
HSV Candidates: There will be a modest $15.00 charge for the traditional name tags (member and spouse). Make check to: Assembly 2316.
